Spiced Pumpkin Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 150g pumpkin, cooked (frozen)

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder (whey or plant based)

  • 50g banana (fresh/frozen)

  • 100g Greek yoghurt

  • 10g peanut butter (nut butter of choice)

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds/ ground flaxseed (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon mixed spice/ clove

  • 1/2 cup (125ml) water

  • handful of ice

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Serve immediately.

    Alternative:

    Swop out the protein powder for 150g fat free plain cottage cheese and increase the greek yoghurt to 150g plus add sweetener of choice.
